Athena: the industrial AI platform for field inspection

Athena is an industrial AI platform for teams that inspect and monitor physical assets. Upload images, thermal captures, audio and sensor data, label them with AI assistance, train models without code, compress them with AEGIS-Q, and deploy them in workflows, as exports, or on edge devices.

Frequently asked questions

What is Athena?

Athena is an industrial AI platform for teams that inspect and monitor physical assets. It covers the whole lifecycle in one place: upload field data, label it with AI assistance, train models without writing code, test them with explanations, compress them with AEGIS-Q, and deploy them in workflows, as exports, or on edge devices.

Which industries does Athena support?

Athena ships Domain Packs for agriculture, renewable energy (PV and wind inspection), oil and gas, and building asset integrity. Each pack adds the failure modes, standards and inspection vocabulary of one industry to the same Athena model family. Domain Packs are a starting point and do not replace your engineer of record's sign-off.

What kinds of data can I use?

Images, thermal captures, audio clips, speech recordings and tabular sensor data. Each type has its own tooling: semantic segmentation with DeepLabV3 or SAM 2/3, speech-to-text with Vosk, audio classifiers, and tabular ensembles.

Do I need to write code or know machine learning?

No. Labeling, dataset preparation, training, testing and deployment are point-and-click. After you mark one example, Athena drafts labels across the rest of your images and flags the ones it is unsure about. You confirm them, so human judgment stays where it matters.

What is AEGIS-Q?

AEGIS-Q (Athena Entropy-Guided Iterative Slimming & Quantization) is Athena's own model compression algorithm. You set the most accuracy you are willing to lose, and it searches for the smallest, fastest INT8 version of your model that stays within that limit. If nothing qualifies it returns your original model, and every accepted run ends in an evidence report of size, speed and accuracy changes.

Is my data private, and can I self-host?

Your data is private by default, and datasets and AI outputs can be exported at any time. Athena is self-host ready, so approved models can run on your own compute. Enterprise plans add private VPC or on-premise deployment and SSO, SAML and SCIM.

How do I get access to Athena?

Athena is in early access. Join the waiting list to request access. Plans range from a free Community tier with open contracts and a local runtime to an Enterprise plan with custom terms.
